Well, there probably wouldn't be any BET. At least not the BET we know of today. And that's a good thing.

I think they wouldnt have rested on their laurels and would still be fighting for change

I think they would recognize that the civil rights movement did part but didnt completely bring about what we as blacks needed

I think they if they were alive things would be harder...people like to believe that things are getting better then they are until something happens...I think the deaths of these two showed people where the country was then. Just like some of the comments about Obama and J. Wright show us where we really are now. And Pat Buchanan still get's air time on news stations.
