it's homecoming!!!!

this is homecoming week for my alma mater jackson state university!  go tigers!!!  i don't know how much i'm getting into, but pictures will be taken :)

i got my laptop back earlier this week.  i found a local place that works on macs.  who needs an apple store? many thanks to user friendly for the blissful reunion :)

separation anxiety

so last night i shut down my macbook and head home after babysitting my niece.  i return home and boot it up.  and i wait.  and i wait.  and i wait.  finally i get the picture of the left, except it's blinking.  i know that can't be good.  i start surfing on the bf's laptop and i find out (if i hadn't figured it out already) my macbook's hard drive is gone...dead...kaput...finished! 

after speaking to applecare (thank goodness for extended warranties)  i have to send it away because jackson has no apple store (thanks ridgeland for holding it up!)  according to the email i received i will go to either texas, tennessee or kentucky. i am freaking out to send it away. 

there is one good thing about all of this....time machine rocks!  i should be able to restore it back to the day before the crash. 

today's rant...

quit selling your bootleg chicken sandwich.  you are not chick-fil-a!

i've been so busy, i haven't been posting.  i'm also working on my other website all by myself.  i'm trying.  hopefully i can find something interesting to write about :)
